In the age of digital our smart phones serve many useful proposes. But not all benefits come from mobile devices. There is a good place for non-digital tracking devices, or rather paper based information management.
They say that one of the major benefits of bullet journals and journals in general, is the act of writing things down each day makes it hard to put off things. If after writing on a to-do-list to walk two miles at lunch, you either will or give it up! Look at a to-do-list using an app on our smart phones is easier to dismiss and put off. However, if you have to writing it down that act forces actions.

There are several notebook and journals I use that are great for personal interactive information tracking
The first is a Travelers Notebook It is a person of the old school organizer everyone used to keep track of life before smartphones. But in this case it a simple leather cover which holds many different paged such as to-do, lists, journal pages, etc.
Next is the simple Moleskin Journal. These come in different sizes, colors and page type (dotted, squares, lined, and blank. These I like for daily journaling or as it is sometimes called morning pages. Journaling is great for making us aware what is brewing in our minds.
Finally, the Bullet Journal. The Bullet is an advanced to-do-list. I use it to set tasks of today, projects that are long term - using sections of today’s pages to decide what tasks I need to focus on needs to be worked on now. And, a list of wants and focuses to keep reminding myself of. Some people will also set a list of tasks for the month that they want to do that month.
And a shout out to cloud digital app I like, just to show I use digital as well, is Evernote. Evernote is great for organizing a lot to data. As well as Microsoft OneNote.
