The Art of Things - Brass Click EDC Pen (BIG IDEA DESIGN)

What is The Art of Things?

The Art of Things is where items that you have has meaning to you and is a useful part of your life. It is not stuff, those things that we collect and creates that clutter in our life. So, in my view there is a difference between things and stuff.

The Art of Things addresses our behaviors that leads to getting stuff and replaces stuff with the things we need and use.

One of the areas I had a lot of is pens. I have always loved pens. And I had a lot of them. But most of them were purchased with cost minded choices. I purchased a lot of $10-50 pens and was never happy with any of them. Over time I came to realize the behavior I was dealing with fear of cost. I would avoid a good pen because of the price; but end up spending ten times as much for a lot of cheaper pens.

Hmmm

That lead me to a second idea of The Art of Things: Less but better!

I adjusted my behavior to buy something I would be very happy with and then not need to be a pen hoarder. The basic idea is to own less stuff (100 pens) but be happier with the few I do have. The less but better is an adjustment in behavior. It focuses on being much happier with fewer but better things.

Now let me share what is now my favorite pen and what it does for me?

I really like the Ti Click EDC Pen, from Big Idea Designs (see Amazon link below).

What I love about this pen is it is a solid metal pen that comes in brass, copper, titanium machined raw, and titanium black. It is super durable, and they look cool. I have meeting I was in be disrupted because someone notice my pen and asked me about it.

The other great design feature is this pen can be adjusted to fit many different ink refill lengths. They say that you can use 100+ of the most popular refill cartages. I personally like the Montblanc mystery black medium tip, https://amzn.to/3cPjMv3 . But you can use the brands and nib you prefer.

Well, that is it. I hope that you enjoyed this. And I hope you will visit my web pages and read more about The Art of Things, as well as follow me on Instagram.
