Biases

They say with age comes experience, but that is really not a given. Many, it would seem, stop thinking and rely on biases to make choices and decide what to do. That combined with the common habit of believing what we see and believe is the clear universal truth; that everyone and all must see!?
What could go wrong there?
This is like painting with two colors (take your pick) and a single brush.
Those who invent, envision, and create the grand things we enjoy and use, do not behave that way. They saw and see the possibilities and acted on them. That does not happen by using habits and biases. Always doing the same things and being too comfortable, are less likely to bring us our dreams.
Note: if your dream is to work the same 9-5 job for X years and have everything be comfortable and familiar, OK then.
However, if you want more and those things are missing, you my want to compare your inner thinking to situations you face, and determine what is in your head and what is out here.
