Below the Surface

As they say still waters run deeps, but with people and things that is true some of the time. The rest of it there is a river raging to refreshing currents. To see just which is there we must go deeper into things and people. That may not happen without much effort and, at times, courage.

Time, things, and people want to hold onto their little secrets and safe spaces.

And sometimes you cannot get there. And you need to take some time to figure out if you need to let them alone and move on; or, at least just not get too close.

Once you go deeper you will be more responsible for the relationship and need to accept more commitment to it.

But closeness to things and people means you have to go deeper with them. And it is you that walk the path to there. It is not a half assed thing.
