We are in most cases habit-based people. We like our routines and we have preferences. Life is busy, and we need things to go as we expect. Things that do not throws everything out of wack.

If you adopt a dog who was surrendered from a home or comes from a puppy mill, they are going to need more from you. Many will be confused and scare and learned how to survive in unusual ways. Those who like order and routines, no matter what, often do not do well with such a dog. Some people go into a rescue adoption knowing it will be challenging and are ready to make it work.

Why do you want to hire that person?

Well these are the people who can…

1. Look at each situation as a separate event that answer for may vary 2. They have learned how to make adjustments as a given situation may need 3. They have patience with situations that go differently than expected 4. They have the experience to know the difference in things, the last situations answer may not work in this time even when it seems the to be the same; they make adjustments as needed 5. They know being successful takes hard work, patience, and being able to objectively understand a situation.

In order words, person who will adopt a rescue dog is not afraid of hard and difficult situations and are objective problems solves who will care about the outcome.

All that would seem to be valuable in many jobs!
