The first principle

There is a quote by the physicist Richard Feynman The first principle is that you must not fool your self, and you are the easiest person to fool. That I think is a very true concept and observation. We can pretty much make our selves believe anything. Others in social economics point out that we are highly selective in our attention. Most people will do a web search looking for things which allow us to fool our selves that a believe we have is validated. To that end we can find 5 sources of information that says we are right and ignore the 300 sources which show we are wrong!
